Official Breakdown starts on Sunday evening 1 March, after close of show from 18:30 – 22:00 and continues on Monday, 2 March from 08:30 – 16:00.

Important: Exhibitors will not be allowed access to loading bays prior to 18h30 on Sunday evening.

Permits

Breakdown Access Wristbands will be issued by security at the loading bay doors and must be displayed by each staff member and sub-contractor for access. Exhibitors and sub-contractors will not gain access to the venue on Monday for breakdown if the company name and stand number is not known by breakdown staff.

For security and safety purposes no items will be allowed out of the venue until 18:30 on Sunday evening. Should an exhibitor remove any items or break down their stand prior to 18:30, the Organiser reserves the right to fine the exhibitor 10% of their contract to exhibit for every hour that the exhibitor’s stand is not manned and open to the public. The exhibitor shall pay this fine on demand (see Standard Terms signed on contract).

Porter services will be provided on Sunday evening from 18:30 to 22:00 as well as Monday, 2 March from 08:30 to 16:00. Read more.

Security

Exhibitors are urged not to leave stands unattended during the breakdown period, as this is when goods are most vulnerable to theft. The Organisers will not be held responsible for theft or damages. Ensure that adequate security and insurance measures are in place.

After Sunday evening breakdown the venue will be locked at 22:00 and re-opened at 08:00 on Monday, 2 March. Ensure that at least one representative from your company is on your stand after close of show on Sunday, 1 March at 18:00 as well as on Monday, 2 March at 08:00 before commencement of final breakdown to secure your possessions and begin packing. Breakdown officially commences at 08:30.

Remove valuable items first - do not leave overnight - do not leave plasma screens on stands.

All stands must be cleared by 16:00 on Monday, 2 March, including all building rubble and material used in construction of stands. A penalty is levied should any rubble/material be left behind by an exhibitor.

Additional stand security can be ordered, such as an overnight security guard, by completing Form No. 4.

Any remaining items will be disposed of by the Organiser and exhibitors charged accordingly. The Organiser will not be held responsible for the safekeeping of any item left behind after the show.
